This is tough to watch

This is kind of tough for me to watch. Those tears to me seem to be the tears of a man who's been beaten down and battered by the hits that he's taken. While it seems like he caused a lot of the problems in Memphis and probably forced himself out, I truly believe him when he says he just wants to play basketball. He still thinks he's as good as ever and wants to go out and do that, but no one else in the league seems to think he can or is worth it. I hope this works out for him, that he plays well and that he is able to not cause any problems.

It kind of makes me wonder why he wouldn't look at going to Europe. He could be a star over there, score a lot of points and make a lot of money. But I think the toughest thing for him to admit at the point would be that he can't do it in the NBA anymore. He's playing for a prorated share of the $1.3 million veteran's. That's probably pretty close to what his checks were very two weeks with his last contract. Good luck AI, I hope this works out.
