City Lights
I've always photos from space to be pretty interesting, and this article gives a great little rundown on getting some of those pictures and includes a sweet gallery with big downloadable pics. The shot above is of Chicago. It's really cool to see the differences in cities, from the street patterns of US and European style cities to the different colors caused by different types of light. The article even mentions that NASA is working to create a night time version of Google Earth which will be pretty sweet to play around with, though seems totally useless otherwise.
