E-waste

Just saw a piece on 60 minutes about new pollution that is caused by electronic waste (computers, cell phones, TVs). This is becoming a huge problem for the world to deal with and is leading to major pollution problems especially in Asian countries. I had never realized the importance of recycling this type of waste, but it's definitly something to think about. The piece said that Americans throw away 130,000 computers a day. Here's a link to an article that has some video and includes some great footage of a town in China that is one of the most polluted places in the world.
